Quickstart
This guide walks through getting an organization up and running, from connecting your ERP to working your first findings.
-
Connect your ERP.
Go to Settings → Integrations and connect your ERP first: NetSuite, Exact Online, or Business Central. This brings in your GL accounts and transactions, and your entities: Eagl creates them from the companies or subsidiaries in your ERP, so there’s nothing to set up by hand. Check them under Settings → Entities once the first sync is done.
Then add a bank, payment, or document source so Eagl can reconcile balances and read your source documents.

Invite your team.
Under Settings → People, invite your colleagues. Give each person a role (Owner, Admin, Member, or Audit) and access to the entities they’re responsible for.
-
Set up your close checklist.
Apply Eagl’s starter checklist or build your own under Settings → Checklist, with the recurring tasks your team runs each period. Assign preparers and reviewers to each task. See Close Checklist.
-
Review your reports.
Once your GL has synced, Eagl builds your P&L, balance sheet, and GL reports and maps your accounts into them with AI. Review them in Reporting and adjust the layout in the Reporting Builder if needed.
-
Work your findings.
As data syncs, Eagl’s agents review the ledger and raise findings for anything that needs attention. Book the proposed corrections you agree with, dismiss the ones you don’t, or turn them into checklist tasks. Your decisions teach Eagl your rules through Knowledge.
-
Run your close.
Work through the checklist with your team, reconcile your balance sheet accounts, and keep an eye on the Cockpit to see what still stands between you and closing the period.
