Microsoft Teams

Connect Microsoft Teams so Eagl can send your team their notifications as Teams direct messages.

What it enables

• Direct messages from the Eagl app to each linked member, for close-checklist activity: assignments, status changes, comments and mentions, and comment replies.
• Reconnect alerts for owners when an integration needs to be reconnected.

Mentions on findings and accruals stay in the Eagl notifications panel. Eagl doesn’t post in Teams channels.

Setup

1. Go to Settings → Integrations and click Connect on Microsoft Teams.
2. Sign in with a Microsoft account that can grant admin consent for your tenant, and accept. Consent is given once for the whole organization.

One Teams connection is supported per organization.

Link your members

A member only gets Teams messages once their Microsoft account is linked to their Eagl user. Eagl links members automatically when their Microsoft email address matches their Eagl email address. Guest accounts in your tenant aren’t linked.

To check or fix the links, open the Teams integration’s Settings under Settings → Integrations and go to the Members tab:

• All lists every Eagl member with their Teams identity; Not connected shows the ones without a link.
• Use the actions menu on a row to link a member to a Teams user by hand, or to Disconnect them.
